Payment 

•  If a package deal is bought, the full amount must be paid, regardless of whether the payment was split into instalments.

• All payments are non-refundable once services commence, except where a refund is due under the 11+ Pass Guarantee or applicable consumer law. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of management in special circumstances. In the unlikely event that the business becomes insolvent or ceases trading, any prepaid packages will be refunded on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of the services.

• Life Changing Tuition is not liable for any technical issues, downtime, or inaccessibility of its app or digital systems. As long as all scheduled tutoring hours are delivered and access to our proprietary 11+ materials is provided, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except where a refund is due under the 11+ Pass Guarantee or applicable consumer law.

• All fees must be paid in advance of lessons.

• Missed group lessons can be made up on another lesson on the same week only.

• If you need to cancel a group lesson you may ask to reschedule a different day.

• All payments must be made in a timely manner, including those that are split into instalments. We reserve the right to charge your bank or payment method for any overdue amounts without prior notice. Failure to make payments on time may result in additional late fees.

• If a student exceeds the number of hours originally paid for, they are liable to pay for the additional hours. These must be settled promptly in line with our payment terms.

• Students who are enrolled on a Life Changing Tuition package may be provided with complimentary access to the Life Changing Tuition App as an additional benefit. Access to the Tuition App is provided free of charge and is not a separately purchased product or service included within the package fee. The package fee relates to the tuition services, teaching support, resources and other paid services outlined in the programme details.

• Access to the Tuition App is provided as a complimentary additional benefit and should not be treated as a separately purchased element of the tuition package. The App may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical faults, third-party service issues, updates or other circumstances outside Life Changing Tuition’s reasonable control.

• Temporary downtime, technical issues or interruptions affecting the Tuition App will not, by themselves, entitle a customer to a refund, cancellation of outstanding instalments or reduction of tuition fees where Life Changing Tuition continues to provide the paid tuition services and any essential learning materials forming part of the programme are made available by reasonable alternative means where necessary.

• Accuracy of Educational Materials: Life Changing Tuition takes reasonable care to ensure that teaching materials, homework, mock examinations, answer sheets, marking schemes and digital resources are accurate. However, educational materials may occasionally contain inadvertent errors, omissions or inaccuracies. Where an error is identified, Life Changing Tuition may correct or update the relevant material, answer or mark. Where digital marking systems such as ZipGrade are used, corrected answers may automatically update a student’s score. The existence of a minor error which is corrected within a reasonable period will not, by itself, entitle a customer to a refund or cancellation, provided the overall tuition service has been supplied with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in this provision affects the customer’s statutory rights.

• Life Changing Tuition may update, replace, modify or discontinue features of the Tuition App from time to time where reasonably necessary for technical, educational, operational or security reasons.

• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights that a customer is entitled to under applicable UK consumer law.

  
  

General (Group Tuition)

• A Homework Booklet is supplied with each lesson for students attending at Welling. Replacement of lost booklets costs £10

• To ensure their safety and well-being, pupils must conduct themselves in a disciplined manner whilst taking part in lessons and during playtimes.

• Teachers or Life Changing Tuition cannot accept responsibility for any valuable(s) or article(s) lost on the premises.

• Life changing Tuition has the right to substitute a teacher at any time due to absence through sickness or other. When possible, notice will be given.

• Children must be collected and dropped off at the school gates entrance

• Parents must park responsibly otherwise they will banned by school premise staff.

• If a student is late for a session they are not entitled to a make up session, for 1:1 and for group .

• If you are late for a class you are not eligible for a refund or make up session.

• All online classes may be recorded for educational, safeguarding, quality assurance, training, and student revision purposes.

• Lesson recordings may include a student’s name, voice, image, participation, chat messages, and shared academic work.

• Recordings are stored securely and retained for up to twenty-four months before being permanently deleted, unless a longer retention period is required for safeguarding or legal reasons.

• Access to recordings is restricted to authorised members of the Life Changing Team team and relevant enrolled students/parents where applicable.

• Students are normally required to keep their cameras switched on during live lessons for safeguarding, attendance monitoring, engagement, identity verification, classroom management, and teaching purposes.

• If a parent/guardian wishes to request a camera exemption due to safeguarding concerns, medical reasons, legal restrictions, court orders, or other exceptional circumstances, they must notify the Life Changing Tuition team in writing before lessons begin so suitable arrangements can be considered.

• Students, parents, and attendees are strictly prohibited from taking screenshots, photographs, screen recordings, or sharing lesson content without prior written permission from Life Changing Tuition.

• While Life Changing Tuition takes reasonable safeguarding and security measures, we cannot fully control or prevent unauthorised screenshots, recordings, or sharing carried out independently by students, parents, or third parties participating in online sessions.

• Life Changing Tuition shall not be held responsible for unauthorised screenshots, recordings, or distribution of lesson content carried out by third parties where reasonable preventative measures have already been implemented.

• Parents/guardians with specific safeguarding requirements, anonymity requirements, or court-ordered restrictions relating to the recording or display of their child’s image must inform Life Changing Tuition in writing before classes commence.

• Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements and is used only for legitimate educational, safeguarding, operational, and contractual purposes.
  
  
  

11+ Pass Guarantee & Refund Policy

1. Our Guarantee

At Life Changing Tuition, we are confident in the effectiveness of our 11+ preparation programmes. We offer a 11+ Pass Guarantee, subject to the eligibility requirements and conditions outlined below.

If a student fulfils all the conditions of the guarantee but does not achieve a qualifying result in their relevant grammar school entrance examination, their parent or guardian may be eligible for a refund of the tuition fees covered by the guarantee.

Scope: This Guarantee applies to online tuition only, and only to online tuition programmes where Life Changing Tuition has expressly agreed to provide the 11+ Pass Guarantee. It is not available for any other programme, including other online programmes, in-person tuition or any programme not expressly sold with the Guarantee.

2. Conditions of the Guarantee

To qualify for the refund guarantee, the student must meet all of the following requirements throughout their enrolment:

2.1 Homework Completion

• Complete 100% of all homework assigned through the Life Changing Tuition learning app.

• Achieve a minimum score of 90% on every assigned homework task.

• Unlimited retries are permitted to achieve the required score.

2.2 Mock Examination Performance

• Complete 100% of all assigned mock examinations.

• Achieve a minimum score of 90% on each mock examination.

• Unlimited retries are permitted to achieve the required score.

2.3 Learn Tab Completion

• Complete 100% of all learning activities and exercises assigned through the Learn tab of the Life Changing Tuition app.

• Achieve a minimum score of 90% on each assigned activity.

• Unlimited retries are permitted to achieve the required score.

2.4 Attendance Requirements

• Attend 100% of all booked tuition classes and scheduled sessions.

• Any exceptions to this requirement must be agreed in writing by Life Changing Tuition.

3. Why These Conditions Apply

Our guarantee is based on our experience that students who consistently complete their assigned work, achieve the required performance targets and attend their tuition sessions are highly likely to succeed in their grammar school entrance examinations.

The minimum 90% performance requirement is designed to ensure students have developed the knowledge and examination skills necessary to perform successfully.

Unlimited retries are permitted because our focus is on ensuring students ultimately master the material, rather than requiring perfect performance on their first attempt.

4. Refund Eligibility and Verification

To request a refund under the guarantee:

• The student must have satisfied all the requirements in Section 2.

• The student must have sat the relevant grammar school entrance examination and not achieved the qualifying result.

• Life Changing Tuition may review attendance records, homework completion, mock examination scores and Learn tab activity to verify eligibility.

• Parents may be asked to provide official evidence of the examination result.

Failure to satisfy any of the conditions outlined in Section 2 means the student will not qualify for a refund under the guarantee, subject to applicable consumer law.

5. Scope of the Guarantee

The guarantee relates to the student’s performance in the applicable grammar school entrance examination, not to the allocation of a place at a particular school.

Passing an entrance examination does not necessarily guarantee a school place, as admissions may also depend on catchment area, oversubscription criteria, school-specific admissions policies and other factors outside Life Changing Tuition’s control.

The guarantee applies only to programmes expressly sold with the 11+ Pass Guarantee.

6. Academic Integrity & Verification

All homework, mock examinations and learning activities must be completed honestly and independently, without unauthorised assistance, answer sharing or other forms of academic dishonesty.

Where Life Changing Tuition has reasonable grounds to suspect that a student’s recorded scores have been achieved through cheating, unauthorised assistance or other dishonest means, we reserve the right to require the student to complete an additional, previously unseen mock examination under supervised conditions to verify their genuine level of attainment.

This assessment will be provided at no additional cost and will be reasonably comparable in subject matter and difficulty to the student’s previous assessments.

Where the student performs significantly below their previously recorded results, and the discrepancy cannot reasonably be explained by factors such as differences in assessment difficulty or individual circumstances, Life Changing Tuition may consider this as evidence that the previous results were not achieved independently.

Following a reasonable review of the available evidence, and after giving the parent or guardian an opportunity to provide an explanation, Life Changing Tuition reserves the right to refuse a refund under the 11+ Pass Guarantee where there is sufficient evidence of academic dishonesty or misrepresentation of performance.

An unexpectedly low result on a single assessment will not, by itself, automatically establish cheating.

This provision is intended to protect the integrity of our guarantee and ensure that refunds are available only where the eligibility conditions have been genuinely satisfied.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable UK law, including rights relating to services that have not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
